If you haven’t enrolled in health insurance through the Affordable Care Act, or ACA, it’s not too late.   

Open enrollment for this year ended February 15, but there’s a special enrollment period that could get you the coverage you may need and want.

The new enrollment period will end April 30 and is only open to people who have to pay a penalty on their taxes for not having health care coverage in 2014.

According to Marketplace navigators, you must be able to affirm you didn’t know about the coverage obligation.

If you aren’t sure if you qualify for this enrollment period, you can go to the online Marketplace and check.
